Randi Martz serves as Director of Marketing and Business Development and has been with CPT Group for over 12 years. Randi is responsible for critically analyzing and executing the requirements of a settlement for legal notification through secondary market research, data analysis, planning and executing. Upon consulting with clients to determine the needs of the Settlement parties, Randi finds ways to increase efficiencies to implement cost savings for the RFP’s. She is also tasked with researching and analyzing target markets to develop strategic and tactical plans to grow the business. As the liaison between the Marketing and Operations Teams, Randi collaborates on identifying critical business development and marketing opportunities to strengthen the Settlement and Client’s core objectives.
Randi received her B.A. in Business Administration, from California State University of Fullerton.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two sons and husband, the owner of a prominent surfboard manufacturing company in Orange County, California, and by taking in the great outdoors by spending time camping, hiking and going to the beach.

With over 15 years at CPT Group, as Senior Vice President of Operations, Julie Green is a driving force behind the company’s ongoing success. With oversight responsibilities for the entire operation, she has an expert hand in all aspects of notice administration and demands quality and success for each step of the process. Making informed recommendations to meet the goals of complex and unique settlements, Julie has been responsible for the design and implementation of thousands of class action notice programs. She understands the necessary mechanics to ensure that effective notice is executed, while making certain neutrality and client confidentiality is continually maintained.
In her position, Julie leverages the Operations Team’s abilities to meet the goals and objectives of the Business Development Team, while ensuring that CPT’s clients are met with exceptional service. By collaborating closely with CPT’s Management Team, she regularly identifies critical business development opportunities to strengthen the company’s core growth objectives in strategic planning and by making both short and long-term decisions that guide the organization.
Julie holds a BA each in Drama and Psychology & Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine.
Outside the office, she’s a married, active mother of two energetic little girls. Music is Julie’s life-long passion, and she’s a gifted singer, songwriter, stage performer, and guitar player. And, perhaps most rewarding, also manages to carve out time to serve as a music therapist for young children and has participated for the last several years as a cast member in the Children’s Hospital of Orange County’s annual fundraiser, CHOC Follies!

Nick Day has over 15 years of legal industry experience in both class action administration and electronic discovery services having held various positions with nationally recognized firms in both arenas. Based in Los Angeles, Nick is charged with developing new business opportunities on both the West Coast and nationally for CPT, providing consultation in class action noticing and settlement administration while maintaining existing clientele, both Plaintiff and Defense. Nick is a California native and earned a B.S. in Business Administration from University of San Diego. Outside the office Nick enjoys spending time with his parents, three brothers and two nephews. Nick is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing golf with his friends on the weekends and attending college and NFL football games.
Alan Rock recently joined CPT’s executive team as VP of Sales and Marketing. He arrives at CPT with over 30 years in sales management experience for both privately held and Fortune 500 companies in the U.S. and in several foreign countries. Alan excels at managing and inspiring sales teams that focus on customer service, a prime directive at CPT. He has held senior management positions at American Express and The Wall Street Journal as well as non-profits focusing on child development. His background also includes many years overseeing marketing for several national TV shows and sporting events that travel across the United States. His leaderships skills have helped achieve company goals year after year.
Alan was first introduced to the world of class action administration in early 2018 where he found his niche and new career. His skills are well suited to help CPT achieve its annual growth targets by focusing on the needs of each and every client. His team is tasked with the motto–To Serve Not Sell.
Outside the office Alan is an avid sailor, yacht racer and is currently the Commodore of Pacific Mariners Yacht Club for 2018. Alan and his wife are big fans of the outdoors and spend every Thanksgiving camping on the Big Sur River. They also volunteer to feed the homeless every other week along with weekly visits to the local nursing home. Alan sees every day as a gift and wants to give back for his many blessings.
After spending 15 years working for Islands Magazine, Alan considers himself an expert on the world’s islands. A Florida Native, he came to California to attend UCLA and never looked back. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from California State University Northridge.
Nellie is the Claims Department Manager at CPT Group and brings over 15 years of class action administration experience to the Claims Department. Nellie previously also managed the call center at CPT and shares her expertise throughout both departments. Prior to joining CPT in 2005, Nellie worked as a call center and data entry associate. With Nellie’s strong background in administration processes, she enforces accuracy and efficiency throughout her team, and serves as the liaison between the Claims and Case Management Departments. She is also fluent in Spanish, both written and oral communication.
In her spare time, Nellie enjoys spending time with her family and rescued dog and going to the beach. She also loves to travel, hike, and watch superhero movies, and is especially interested in muscle cars, and Capoeira, in which she holds a Green Belt.
Tony Marquez is the Mailing Department & Production Manager at CPT Group and oversees the production floor, Mailing Department and its staff. Tony has been with CPT for 7 years putting into practice his experience of more than 27 years in the mailing industry. Before working for CPT, he was a Production Manager for 12 years at Advantage Mailing, one of biggest companies in Southern California in postal service. Tony has been an asset to CPT’s continued growth. With his expertise and leadership in the mailing department, CPT’s capacity and quality of production has become second to none.
Tony was born in Guatemala City, and moved to Southern California in 1981 when his father obtained residency. Tony proudly became a US Citizen in 1996. Outside the office, Tony enjoys spending time with his lovely wife and three sons, cheering them on in soccer, and volunteering in missions for his church giving food to orphan children and to the homeless.
Tony graduated as a Certified Accountant at the School of Commercial Sciences (“Escuela de Ciencias Comerciales”) in Guatemala City.
Alecxis joined CPT Group in 2014 as the Class Member Support Manager and oversees a team of representatives who assist Class Members with all incoming inquiries. With the goal of establishing a successful workplace culture for her team, it is Alecxis’ philosophy that happy employees make for happy customers. By adding the right coaching to inspire work habits and standards that align with CPT’s core values, the Class Member Support team has achieved greatness since Alecxis joined the team. As a manager, she clears obstacles and gives her staff the freedom and responsibility to make decisions that improve business results.
Alecxis believes the only way to be truly satisfied is to do great work and the only way to do great work is to have a passion and love for what you do. With over 25 years in Customer Service, Sales, and Coaching, a constant hunger for learning and a warm smile enable her to be of service to others.
Outside of work, you can find Alecxis enjoying ballroom dancing, movies, trying new restaurants and simply enjoying life to the fullest with her loving family.
Alejandra Zárate de Landa is CPT Group’s Case Quality Assurance Manager. In her role, she is responsible for analyzing the Stipulations of Settlement as well as the Court Orders to ensure compliance in all aspects of case administration as well as the allocation of settlement funds to class members. Alejandra started with CPT Group in 2007 in the claims department and become a Case Manager in 2009. She was promoted into her current role in 2016.
Alejandra received her degree in Computer Engineering from Autonomous University of Baja California in Ensenada, B.C. Mexico. While earning her degree, she worked as a web development assistant and helped develop a web page for students interested in taking off-campus classes.

Carole is a Supervising Case Manager at CPT Group. In this role, she leads a team of Case Managers and Assistants and ensures the proper guidance and supervision is upheld for high accuracy levels and prompt adherence to court ordered deadlines. She is also responsible for overseeing all case activity and having a comprehensive understanding of each case her team handles. Carole initially joined CPT in 2010 as a Case Manager. In her career prior, she spent 12 years in the Financial Industry at a prominent Fortune 500 annuities company. Then, when an opportunity took her family to Minot, North Dakota, she had to leave CPT, but gained 5 years of Human Resources expertise, first as Benefits Specialist at Trinity Health and then as a Benefits Coordinator at Food Management Investors, Inc. Upon returning to California in 2016, Carole rejoined CPT, providing a strong professional background to the team.
Outside of the office, Carole is a true adventurer. She especially enjoys traveling to Italy. Having visited 20 of its cities, Carole is the person to speak to if you’re ever planning a trip to the country.
Tim Cunningham has successfully managed over 300 cases in his 10 years at CPT Group. As Supervising Case Manager, under his direction, a team of Case Managers and Assistants are trained and guided to oversee all case activity—from administrative conception to disbursement. Tim and his team are also the primary contact between the firm and Counsel while also working closely throughout administration with the IT, Mailing, Claims and Call Center departments. Prior to CPT Group, Tim was a Lead Relationship Manager for 10 years at a prominent Fortune 500 mutual insurance holding company.
During his free time, Tim volunteers as a coach for Boot Camps for New Dads, an organization that facilitates workshops for “rookie” and “veteran” dads at various South Orange County hospitals. When he’s not volunteering, you can find Tim spending time with his wife, a kindergarten teacher, and two beautiful daughters.
Tim earned his B.A. in Public Administration with a minor in English from California State University, San Diego.
Gary Coburn is CPT Group’s Information of Technology Director. With over 15 years of experience in Information Technology management, consultative selling, project leadership, market development and new technology introduction, Gary plays a key role in building and maintaining CPT’s case database as well as preserving its infrastructure and security. Gary, along with his team, also implement and deploy CPT’s case-related websites. It’s because of Gary’s extensive IT experience and his ability to clearly articulate even the most advanced technology to businesses and technical users, that make him a great asset to the Company.
Beyond his work at CPT Group, Gary is a jack-of-all-trades. Not only is he a former member of the Portland Police Reserve Unit as a technology advisor but he’s also a custom furniture maker, homebuilder (both for profit and Habitat for Humanity), amateur photographer and amateur race car driver. With all the interests he keeps, there’s never a dull moment or conversation with Gary.
Gary received his B.S. in Technical Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology, in Boston, MA and his MBA from Suffolk University, also in Boston, MA.
Jackie Hitomi is the Director of Settlement & Treasury Services at CPT Group. With 14 years of experience in the class action industry, Jackie oversees the distribution process and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of settlement calculations and the compliance of court approved agreements. Jackie manages a team of disbursement and tax administrators and provides guidance to the case management team for complex settlements. As a Director, Jackie serves as a trusted contact for clients and assists with the effectuation of multifaceted projects. She is also a key contributor to the development and execution of the settlement administration process.
Jackie began her legal career as a Paralegal at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and has also held Senior Paralegal positions in several law firms in Orange County and Los Angeles. She received her B.A. in International Relations and Law & Public Policy, from the University of Southern California, and completed the ABA Paralegal Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Jackie is a mother of 2 young daughters and serves as the PTA President at their elementary school. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys being involved with her community, spending time with her husband and daughters, attending country music concerts, dancing and watching movies.

Abel Morales is the Director of Operations at CPT Group. Since joining CPT in 2010, Abel has handled hundreds of class action cases from inception through distribution and has become the expert in complex settlements. He is the primary client contact and is well trusted for his expertise in the class action industry. Abel oversees the Claims Processing Department, Production Department, and Class Member Support Services. With his wide range of expertise, it provides valuable insight to all facets of the Administration process. Prior to CPT Group, Abel was a Senior Analyst for 9 years at a prominent Fortune 500 mutual insurance holding company. Abel also holds a B.A. in International Finance from the California State University of Fullerton. He is bilingual in Spanish.
In his spare time, Abel enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife attending concerts and traveling the world.
Darin Zabriskie has over 20 years of legal consultative & management experience in class action administration and electronic discovery services. Darin is based in Seattle and charged with continuing to grow CPT Group’s presence nationally and expanding the firm & relationships with leading class action attorneys, including plaintiff and defense firms. He is also responsible for consulting with current and prospective clients to develop and implement pre-settlement solutions as well as cost-effective settlement administration solutions.
Prior to joining CPT, Darin sharpened his legal consulting expertise by holding several client-facing positions with nationally recognized firms in class action administration and e-discovery. Outside of the office you’ll find Darin enjoying his free time in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and three children. Also, as an avid martial arts fan since the age of fourteen, he’s obtained instructorship in Muay Thai kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
For the past decade, Tim has been a member of CPT Group and in the attorney service and litigation support industry for over 15 years. As a senior staff member of the sales team, Tim is an intricate piece of the overall puzzle, and has been a driving force behind the success at CPT. His leading sales, consulting and marketing strategies have established CPT as a premier Class Action Settlement Administrator. Tim has proven to be the leading wage and hour consultant in California and brings in over 200 settlements a year in all realms of class action. Tim provides exemplary service to his clients with a steadfast goal that longevity of the relationship is most important. Often, you will hear him say, “I want us to do business together for years to come.”
Outside the office you will find Tim coaching multiple youth sports leagues around Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Tim is a lifelong Dodgers fan and attends at least 50 games a year. He is also a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity based at UCSB. Father of three (more to come), and husband to a beautiful, accomplished author/stay at home mom.
Matt Weiss has over a decade of legal industry experience and has been with CPT for more than 5 years. Based in San Diego, Matt is charged with developing new business opportunities California and Nationwide, focusing mostly on San Diego and Orange Counties.
Born and raised in California, Matt currently lives in San Diego, California with his wife and young daughter. Outside the office Matt enjoys playing golf, surfing and refurbishing old cars.
